The Hairy Fig
Despite sounding like a dubious innuendo The Hairy Fig is actually
rather wonderful, which is saying something in a city awash with
delectable dinky delis. There's a good selection of suitably smelly
cheeses and charcuterie meats and with the recent addendum of four
tables in the shop next door, Itchy was able to enjoy it all served up
to them on a delicious platter. It'll make any foodie go weak at the
knees and froth at the mouth, particularly if they take time to peruse
the exotic ingredients that crowd the walls like the contents of an
apothecary's cupboard. Definitely a worthy place to spend your pocket
money.
