Old White Swan
Once an 18th century base for poultry selling, when 'chicken in a basket' meant live animals squawking in wicker. You won't see any of our feathered friends nowadays, despite the several interconnected bars giving them plenty of places to hide. There's also a courtyard for summer drinking, or escaping to should you hear any sinister clucking from behind the bar stools.
