It's funny that come St Patrick's Day everyone develops a taste for the black stuff and alludes to their tenuous Irish heritage – usually a holiday romance in Donegal at 16 –. Still, we English are nothing if not fond of jumping on a bandwagon if it means we can spend the whole day drinking, and this is as good a place as any. It's about as Irish as half the Ireland footy squad but there's bargain grub deals and big screens to watch the game on.
