Imagine we had another World War and all the semi–intelligent, physically capable members of society went off to fight the good fight and never retuned. What we'd be left with pretty much sums up the clientele here. Women whose sole benefit to the economy is keeping Claire's Accessories going, and men whose social skills are so stunted that they'd die virgins were it not for places like this.
