There's nothing to get us handing over our cash quicker than the thought of getting a couple of quid off the price –regardless of whether we'd have bought it before we saw the sale tag. McArthur Glen houses discount stores for some major brands, including Armani, Calvin Klein and Burberry. But for every Body Shop selling cut–price cocoa butter, there's a Malboro Classics flogging logo–heavy bomber jackets to the over 40s. As well as clothes stores there are ceramics, luggage, and the obligatory Tie Rack. A word of warning though –don't even think about setting foot within Tommy Hilfiger unless you're prepared to battle it out with the city's entire population of wannabe phat folk.
