Band on the Wall
Manchester's legendary not-for-profit venue states its mission is to present the city the very best music. The massive depth and variety in the line-ups mean that there's bound to be something to your taste. As a venue it's not too shabby either. Band on the Wall's state of the art carpeted dance floors defy the laws of science to stay dry and non-sticky throughout the whole night. The main room's design and decor reminds Itchy of many of the classic venues that are sadly no longer with us. Upstairs the ceiling is fantastically low, making the night as drunken friends walk forehead first into it.
