Kitchen Italia
A stone's throw away from London's bustling theatre scene, Kitchen Italia's location welcomes you with swirly retro lights, guiding you down a narrow staircase to an amber-hued basement restaurant. The heavenly aroma from their open kitchen was a sure sign to us of the indulgent dishes to come. From white crab to good ol' mac 'n' cheese, the selection of dishes available will delight the staunchest of fusspots. Diners can pluck aromatics from the pots of herbs that adorn the tables, meaning garnishing has never been so much fun, or you have the option to choose from their selection of flavoured oils. All in all Kitchen Italia is well worth a visit. Itchy is a big fan of the DIY herby element, and the overall effect is like a great big basil-scented womb. Which is much more comforting than it sounds.
