Ye Olde White Bear

This pub takes you back to the good old days, complete with real ales, scampi fries and a few aging barflies. Sitting pretty off the main streets of Hampstead, it's full of locals, especially on Thursdays for the quiz, maybe because all teams get a free bowl of chips. If you're superstitious, you can try and coax the pub's black cat across your path for a bit of extra luck. He's not shy about stealing your seat if you've created a warm spot, so be prepared to stand if you go to the loo.
