The Spaniard's Inn
If you like a nice walk on a Sunday followed by an obscure beer, this place was made for you. By winter it's all real ale, open fires and dark, inviting corners; and by summer – Pimms, barbecues and (slightly car-parky) beer gardens. The food's yummy too and exactly what you want after frolicking on Hampstead Heath with a frisbee: roasts, ploughmans, pies and sausages. Add that all together, and it makes for the only pub near the Heath that you ever need to know about.
