Arancia

Next to a screamingly busy A-road, Arancia is never going to win any prizes for its location, but the Italian food is sublime. Head chef and owner, Catherine Townsend, uses fresh, local produce to create delights that you don't need to be a gout-ridden fat cat to afford. The grilled plaice and shredded duck salad were especially impressive. With a good price mix of tasty Italian wines too, it's easy to see why the dozen tables at Arancia are always packed.
