Earl of Lonsdale
If Santa had a favourite West London boozer, this would be it. It's got a cosy old-man feel about it, though when we went there weren't actually that many old men. On his 364 days off each year, old Kris Kringle would be able to put his boots by one of the open fires, relax in a big wooden chair, eat some homely pub grub and sup on a fine Samuel Smith's ale. Being Sam Smiths, of course, means that it's not too pricey either which is good when you're mostly paid in mince pies and sherry.
