Masala Zone
Standing proud on Upper Street, we're a bit miffed to say that one of our favourite places is now apparently relying on its previous reputation to bring in the punters. It used to be a bit of a hot spot for Islington socialites, fawning over the gorgeous lamb channa dabalroti. But now there are better places close at hand, where the staff still care and you can actually get served within 30 minutes. It looks nice, smells nice, and the summer BBQs are great, but for outstanding Indian food, head elsewhere.
