Stingray Globe Café
Top quality Italian food at reasonable prices doesn't exactly grow on trees east of Soho, but if you find yourself in E2 you'll be neither disappointed, nor on the phone to your bank manager after a blow-out at the Stingray. While they specialise in delicious rustic pizzas, they also serve the usual array of antipasti and starters at similarly wallet-friendly prices. It's not big and it can get busy, but the nearby Sunday flower market is worth a visit after lunch and a portion of their yummy tiramisu.
