You couldn't get more colour in a place if you stuffed it with folded rainbows. Bedazzling with fairy lights, painted tyres and originality, Mercado grub is miles away from typical conveyor belt Tex-Mex; lamb baked in banana leaves and steamed cactus will raise your eyebrows in surprise, then sipping tequilas and Tamazula Tabasco will blow them clean off. Everything Mexican comes straight from there, everything else is sourced locally, and every face sports a whopping smile. Colour us very happy indeed.
