Tai Pan
Every night is party night at Tai Pan. If you live locally and have something to celebrate, this, it seems, is the place to raise slurred toasts and slap backs. Look for the ostentatious looking brown marble–effect exterior and you're there. Inside expect big round tables, a formal feel and decent prices. The food is excellent by all accounts with interesting options for veggies – sea spice aubergine at £4.80 – and spectacular seafood.
