All the pubs down here are worth a mini crawl or a lazy Sunday afternoon's drinking session, but we particularly like this one. This may well be because we've spotted Ant and Dec in here on more than one occasion, but please don't think less of us. There's a wicked conservatory if the weather's lame and loads of room for riverside banter if it's good. Try your best to bag a seat on the patio, and if you do, stick with it. There's a premium seating battle of wills in here and you won't last long if you break your resolve. One false move and you're out on your ear, watching someone else enjoy that patio heater. If you can't take the pace you can stick to the footpath, neck a pint or two and watch the world go by. Food here – pub grub classics – is also good.
