Bombay Brasserie
If your idea of an Indian meal involves ten pints of strong lager and putting a plant pot on your head, look away now. Bombay Brasserie is renowned for being one of London's very first stylish Indian restaurants.And things are still going strong. It isn't cheap but the food is sublime featuring specialities from North and South India as well as Bengali, Goan and Gujerati dishes. Everything is well thought out and looks almost too pretty to eat. Service is excellent and you might even spot a celeb or two chowing down the goods.
