Elephant's Head The
Full of cowering posh kids on a day-trip from Fulham counting the seconds until they can go home and tell their pals they really roughed it with the NW1 locals. The Elephant's Head is a Camden institution and rightly so –there's almost no décor, very basic food and an excellent jukebox –this place is still popular with rockers and on the right night you'll see more quiffs and brothel–creepers than you can shake a stick at. Loud, grubby and proud of it.
