Afghan Kitchen, The
Nothing much changes here. Classy calm decor, canteen-style seating and fresh, feisty Afghan food. We'll dispense with the lame gags this year and simply tell you to make sure you eat out here at the next available opportunity. Try Sarah's - a potato and chickpea concoction - or chicken/pumpkin in yoghurt. Sounds too basic to be good - is truly fantastic. The best and most unusual food in London - no exaggeration.
