Old Coffee House The
If you're on a first date with a particularly picky vegetarian you might want to give this place, and its random scattering of stuffed dead things, a miss. If you're not, or you've been lucky enough to bag a blood-thirsty type, this is a lovely low-key London pub to sink a few ales in. It tends to be pretty quiet, so come for the chat not the buzz, and ignore the skanky looking exterior.
