Windmill on the Common
More of a beer-vending machine than a pub, The Windmill's main function is to dish out plastic pints for boozers on the common. So enormous that we have yet to explore the whole venue, but enjoyed sitting in their "beer garden" for a bit, despite the fact that it's really just some outside tables behind a little wall. Gastropub classics are served up to an impressive standard in their classy-looking dining room, but we suspect you'll ignore all of this and do the buy-beer-collapse-on-the-common thing anyway.
