Opposite

Opposite Café really is the ultimate student hideaway – although judging from the amount of people that flock there at lunchtime, its tucked-away location isn't very well hidden from the hungry student population. Opposite serves delicious homemade food, amazing cakes, and coffee that's all the more satisfying when accompanied by one of their notoriously gooey chocolate brownies. It even provides a dose of culture with its coffee, by exhibiting the work of up-and-coming artists for you to peruse whilst you relax. All this deliciousness is crammed into a little tucked-away spot opposite the University of Leeds, with a laid-back ambience that provides a welcome change from the numerous corporate coffee empires that pop up on every street corner.
