It must have been sale time at Macro because this place has some of the cheapest drinks deals in the city centre. The much loved 'ladies night' is sadly no longer, as the delicate ladies of Leeds where seriously beginning to dent the bar profits when they took the 'as much as you can drink' rule to beyond medically safe proportions. After its recent refurb it's transformed itself from a cold, dark basement into a cold, but colourful basement with leather sofas. Open only as a daytime cafe bar on Monday and Tuesday, but for the rest of the week – excl. Sun –it's open til 2am.
