Woolfson & Tay

...the bookworm's dream

Review

With each town center becoming increasingly like its neighbour's, we'll soon only be able to distinguish cities through the medium of speech. But even today, nestled amongst the default Nandos and Topshops that breed generic citydom, brilliant independent businesses survive. Take that, Urban Planner.

One such marvel is Woolfson & Tay. Incorporating a Café and Gallery, this independent bookshop sits perfectly on Bermondsey Square, offering all the latest reads and imaginatory feasts - all whilst promoting community spirit. Book-fascists beware, we smell the scent revolution.

Basically, they have amazing events, readings and cake. So it's probably time for you got down there, have some tea, read some poetry and pretended you're all grown up. Don't forget the knitting.
