Capitol
Capitol has attracted a decent mixture of young professionals and student types, and its easy to see why. They've got live bands almost every day, good food and even a spot of karaoke if you're feeling all Leona Lewis. We weren't, but we took a good nosey around and were pretty impressed with the set up. Clean, professional, but slightly student-y, it can be hired out for functions or pop along on Tuesdays where its £1 a drink. Seating is a little cramped, so to fix that they've got an outside heated seating area, giving a lovely view of Sauchiehall St traffic. Doesn't matter if you have beer though. Does anything matter when you've had a beer?
