This is ace. Science malls, planetarium and Imax housed in big, brash confident buildings on the riverside. Boffins have calculated it is exactly 4,325 times better than London's Millennium Dome. Unlike that white elephant, this manages to be both fun and educational. Think Johnny Ball with a snappy titanium cladding. Go when there are decent workshops on, and learn how to make parachutes, bubbles, gold, unicorns...anything. They can do the lot here. In days of yore, this place would have been tried as a witch, put in a sack and drowned.
