The Egg
The Egg: probably Edinburgh's most eclectic and certainly one of its best-loved club nights. In the laid-back, intimate surroundings of the ECA's Wee Red Bar, The Egg pulls in a largely bohemian crowd students and music lovers week after week. We can't argue with the music policy, which is one of the capital's best, ranging from the latest electronic sounds through indie classics right back to '60s soul and Motown. Our only qualm is that the dancefloor often doesn't get going until after 1am, which can make you feel a little short-changed, or just leave you wanting more. Much more.
