The Hog's Head
Buying a second-hand CD makes you cool cos to the untrained eye it looks as though you've owned it a while. Buying one in The Hog's Head makes you even cooler. Staffed by what looks like the cast of High Fidelity and stocked like a looting of the late great John Peel, upon entering the cavernous shop, you'll remember why you love music in the first place. Their opening hours may have the suffix '-ish' (how rock and roll) but all the records are meticulously organised; rock, metal, indie, folk – you'll find it all here and you'll find it cheap. The Hog's Head is heaven for the hard-up music hoarder.
