The Argyle Bar
The Argyle Bar is actually a small, stalwart pub nestled in a Marchmont area, which is surprisingly lacking a decent amount of good watering holes. It really could do with some more seating – Itchy struggled to find a place to sit on an otherwise quiet Friday afternoon. A minor grumble though, as what makes up for it are the smiley staff and the occasional raucous live music nights, that draw an eclectic crowd of locals and students. A cheap and reasonable bar with few real perks, but equally few alternative local options.
