Kasbah
It doesn't take Alan Sugar to figure out that this densely populated studentville could support a wide range of takeaways, nor does it take a Heston Blumenthal to know that Kasbah, which monopolises the curry market in this small swath of Marchmont, is to be avoided. The service is quick enough and its proximity to dense housing keeps things busy, but this nondescript takeaway offers a range of dishes that run from passable to poor – the curry dishes being particularly worrying. Take our advice and choose from the numerous far superior offerings elsewhere in the city.
