Walkabout
Most Walkabout bars are antipodean-themed dens of dull students and drunken villainy. Not this one. Situated opposite well-known stand-up venue, Jongleurs, in the timelessly hideous Omni Centre, this branch is conspicuously student-free and, indeed, under-21s are generally regarded with suspicion. Drinks are cheap and the extra-curricular activities are typically Aussie fayre – huge portions of meat and cricket. Deals aplenty too – you can even 'Jump the Q', rather like (according to their promotional material) a kangaroo. Lovely.
