The Mercat Bar
Ooh, this place is a rowdy one. But it's the staff more than the clientele that are frequenty the source of this rowdiness. In fact, they can be so rowdy that you're more likely to find a fight breaking out between the staff than with the innocent customers standing by. And yet it's actually quite a pleasant place, with the sometimes overwrought staff making you feel calm by comparison. Just a short walk from Haymarket station, the food is great, and there's often some light entertainment in the form of stand-up comedy. Hmm, maybe that's what causes all the fights... bloody, shit-stirring comedians.
