Mai Thai
If you say to your friends, 'Let's go and check out Mai Thai,' and they look at you weirdly, it's probably because they think you mean, 'Let's go and check out my tie,' which would be a very boring way to spend an evening. Even if it was a particularly colourful tie that played a Christmas medley. But don't let that unlikely misunderstanding put you off. This is an established Thai restaurant with a prestigious chef and a menu with more unpronounceable dishes on it than you can shake a bamboo shoot at.
