Henderson's of Edinburgh

This is where to come if you're dining with vegetarian or vegan pals, especially if you're after a light lunch. Although mainly frequented by Green Party-voting, middle class professionals with babies and elderly relatives, it offers a break from the student populace. The food is just the right side of natural and rustic although the interior does feel like a canteen. Who knew you could have a dozen different types of salad? This place proves that eating healthily doesn't have to mean cardboard and a lettuce leaf. Or the stick of Satan that is celery.
