Café Royal Circle Bar
Itchy isn't wont to use the words 'best pub lunch in Edinburgh' lightly, but Café Royal has the best pub lunch in Edinburgh. Perhaps it's because it shares a kitchen with the restaurant at Café Royal, a restaurant so awesome it was featured in the film Chariots of Fire. The bar menu isn't enormous, but every dish is comfort food of the best kind. If you don't mind being surrounded by fifty-something men most of the time, the food here is well worth the reward. And the best thing is, they're open for dinner, too.
