What is it with the Grassmarket and gothic interiors? It's anyone's guess, but anyway, here's another one for your drinking pleasure One of the most popular pubs on the Grassmarket, decked out in Hackneyed gothic style, but with the added benefits of cute barmaids wearing black mini-skirts. A square bar is plonked right in the centre of the drinking area, around which mobs of stone-headed rugby players like to drool whilst waiting to be served. Very busy at the weekends, but not just a night -in the mornings when the hung over hordes gather for a spectacular full Scottish breakfast or Sunday roast.
