Coffee Barker
Itchy couldn't believe its luck when it tumbled through a pile of trendy clothes, exhausted after looking so god damn good, to discover that the swanky clothes shop it had been raiding was adjoined to a swanky cafe. But we mean swanky in the good way. Tucked away in Castle Arcade, Coffee Barker is one groovy pad: plush armchairs, the usual coffee suspects and sumptuous Paninis which Itchy would like to describe as a bit sexy, but knows that it probably shouldn't - what's not to love? Itchy's new shirt? But we thought that orange was all the rage? *Sigh.* Bring on the cake then.

11 Sep 2011I am so glad to have seen this review. Barker is definitely worth a visit. The coffee is great, the chairs and the atmosphere in general, and those are some delicious Welsh cakes. The only drawback: the music. Some odd CD of acoustic covers of common pop songs was playing on repeat while I was there, it must've played almost 3 times over while I was there.
