Americandy
Despite our best intentions at Itchy to ditch the chocs, obtain a
celebrity style beach body, and take over the universe, we were unable
to resist the delicious fragrance coming from Americandy. Walking in
felt like returning to our eight year-old selves, as we saw all the
sweets so familiar to us in our childhood. Every flavour of Nerds you
could wish for, countless jars of bonbons, sherbets, rock...and that's is
only half the store! Venturing further in we were suddenly in exotic
unknown territory. Unsurprisingly, it was American: Twinkie bars,
Candycorn and Poptarts of every variety, as well as lesser-known brands
Three Musketeers, Pay Day and 5th Avenue. The friendly staff are also
more than happy to take note of any requests for American candy not yet
available in store to accommodate customers. The diet can wait -
perhaps forever.
