Mad Hatters Cafe
This family-friendly cafe is located in the old schoolroom of The Gate, but no one'll force you to do any spelling tests or attempt to hula-hoop in your vest and pants. Instead, they'll encourage you to eat American-style pancakes or bacon & egg doorsteps for breakfast, Alice in Wonderland-themed main meals (Tweedle dee and Tweedle Dum, it's a Burger in a Bun being the best of the names on the menu) and cake at any damn time of the day you choose, ideall yperched on one of their lovely chesterfields. They're also open for dinner pre-theatre, with a nicely-stocked bar.
