The Mackintosh
The Macky – one of those middling pubs that you'll periodically remember exists and drift into – has plastered all over its walls horrendously unfunny cartoons. Cartoons so bad they must have been drawn by a friend of the landlord (probably called Crazy Tony) and that stir up a deep feeling of misanthropy in Itchy's normally cheerful breast. The place is all right, though. It's often pleasantly quiet and the ratio inclines more toward amiable fusties than hooting freshers despite being deep in the student ghetto. Ale's cheap, too.
