Mango
Itchy first went to Mango for a chum's birthday. Word leaked out to the staff and suddenly there was continental music, mass impromptu dancing, and a tiny, tasty cake. 'Friendly', then, doesn't do justice to the owners of this Mexican and Spanish tapas cafe. They're wonderful. Mango recently celebrated its first anniversary with a variety of special deals, but the crowd of late has seemed worryingly thin on the ground. If this comfy, cheap-and-classy place became a victim of the credit crunch - like the fantastic Bar En-Route across the road has - it would be a tragedy.
