Great China

Accommodating as it is quaint, this restaurant takes you back to the age before modern Chinese eating, where you could order chow mein without a poncy garnish. In the buffet, the portions are more than substantial and fresh to order, so no soggy noodles or pappy rice. This place is a beacon of hope for all of those who want a tasty Chinese meal with no hassle of deciphering Chinese terminology or fearing the unusual.

Myself and my family have been a regular at this restaurant for a couple of years, so when my children did well in school I decided to treat them with a family meal at what was their favourite restaurant, I can honestly say that standards have dropped, the service was once very welcoming and friendly but today we found it to be unfriendly and when asked if I could have the left over dishes packed up to take back home was met with a very decisive no, 6 small glasses of coke came to £15 which shoked us all. We most definately will not be returning and this once lovely restaurant has lost atleast 4 customers and any others we tell.
