Café Rouge
Café Rouge tries to add a certain je ne sais quoi to French dining in Cardiff. About as authentic as every other chain; being part of the Tragus group, which includes Bella Italia, Strada and Oriel. It's the same story : if you've visted the actual countires they imitate, you'll end up gazing into the distance longing to be back on the continent, lobster in hand, at a snip of the price. Or you'll pretend the dish in front of you is even remotely close to the culinary delights that await you abroad.
