The Record Shop
We'd like to try and pretend this is the best place in Cardiff to buy novelty plastic lobsters that sing the hits of Billy Ray Cyrus when you feed them tomato ketchup, but alas, they merely sell records. This tiny establishment hidden away in the depths of studentville has been in Roath for a decade yet is still largely unknown to most. Music lovers can dig deep into the piles of vinyl and unearth something truly unique. Stacks of records are so dangerously high that the prospect of concussion is simply accepted in exchange for the prospect of good music. Call ahead as it's closed more often than not.
