The Riverbank Hotel
Used to be the host of a legendary Northern Soul night, but offers comfy rooms too, if you like that sort of thing. In the staying–at–your–gran's kind of style – in comparison to the Holiday Inn at least –, the staff here are friendly and you'll find very reasonable room rates. Just accross the river from the mighty Millenniium Stadium, you're likely to find this place packed with rugger enthusiasts when there's an important game on, but don't let that put you off.
