Positano

Romantic dinners and raucous celebrations –sorted. Positano is one of Cardiff's best loved Italian restaurants and somewhere that seems happy to cater for your every whim. That's not to say you can come over all diva like and demand Mongolian wildflowers and a lackey to stir your soup but you'll find the service is always spot–on. Food–wise we're talking Italian classics –fantastic pizza and pasta dishes, a fine line in Welsh lamb, fresh as you like seafood –with a refreshingly modern twist. Add a glass or two of Pinot Grigio and you've got it made. And if you ever find yourself in Penarth, their Mediterraneo – 029 2070 3428 – restaurant is well worth seeking out.
