The Gardenia
If you know Cambridge, you know Gardenia's. Famed for it's 3am chip buttys, it is the watering hole of any drunken student who stumbles out of one of Cambridge's hip, hop and happening clubs. Open from 11am til 4am, it is the favourite of most of Cambridge's young residents. From kebabs to pizza, chicken to chips, this takeaway is usually busier of an evening than any of the bars, as residents drift away from the disappointing nightlife, and head to the one place that guarantees a good time. Famed for the photos of customers that line the wall, dating back to the eighties, Gardenia's is the perfect end to a night out in Cambridge. Tom Wallin
