The Hobgoblin
Though devoid of Hobgoblins, this pub isn't a total disaster. Situated on Gloucester Road, its clientele are mostly sprightly, boozy thirty-somethings who sport the occasional dreadlock or pair of Liam Gallagheresque sunglasses. Like most places in the area it manages to always retain a good level of busyness and, if things get too claustrophobic, there's a small courtyard area where you can have a breather (with or without nicotine). However, the nights here may not be your bag, they're stifling and often 80s themed.
