The White Hart
Opposite The Woods, this pub is pretty much polarised between student and local atmospheres taking hold each night. It's a pretty male affair, with arcade, TV, pool stuff, and the much vaunted (but generally pretty useless) Yellow Cards. These pieces of plastic are a passport to cheaper booze and grub, and don't make you feel like your identity has been nicked; you'll unlikely be asked to fill out unnecessary forms or sign your life away. The White Hart's position is excellent if you're up for a Park Street crawl or a later lounge next door in Oppo.
