Ship Inn, The
This bright and homely pub is that bit more special than your average boozing venue. It's one of those places that seems to always stay on a good level of not being too busy or too quiet, no matter what night of the week it is. If you're looking for a little entertainment then there's an old-style jukebox and a secluded pool table downstairs. There are also plenty of isolated areas and booths if you like your private moments and don't want to merge with the masses. And if you're feeling peckish, their pizzas are delicious.
